He has been visiting scholar at the University of Plymouth, the University of Bologna, the University of Southern California, and the Imperial College London.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Since 2018, he is the Director and Co-founder of the <\/span><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.as-ai.org\">Advanced School in Artificial Intelligence<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> promoted by ISTC-CNR and involving an interdisciplinary network that includes relevant academic and company experts in different application fields of machine learning and artificial intelligence. Additionally, he teaches &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/lumsa.it\/it\/docenti\/daniele-caligiore\">Artificial Intelligence Systems in Social Contexts<\/a>&#8221; at the <a href=\"https:\/\/lumsa.it\/en\/home\">Libera Universit\u00e0 Maria Santissima Assunta (LUMSA)<\/a> in Rome.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In 2020 he co-founded the CTNLab.<\/p>\n<p>He has published more than 90 scientific articles in international journals, conference proceedings, and book chapters. He has also participated in several international research projects in the field of artificial intelligence and neuroscience.<\/p>\n<p>He is member of the Scientific Secretariat with support functions to the <strong>Commission for Ethics and Integrity in Research<\/strong> of the CNR, and evaluator expert of research project proposals in the field of artificial intelligence and neuroscience for the Italian Ministry of University and Research (MUR) and for the European Commission. He is also among the founding members of the <a href=\"http:\/\/ai2life.com\/\"><strong>ISTC-CNR spin-off AI2Life<\/strong><\/a> whose mission is to spread the use of artificial intelligence solutions to promote business growth, social development, and people\u00a0well-being.<\/p>\n<p>He published the\u00a0<strong>interdisciplinary books<\/strong>\u00a0<em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ctnlab.it\/index.php\/ia-istruzioni-per-luso\/\">IA istruzioni per l\u2019uso<\/a><\/strong><\/em>\u00a0(2022) and\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/ctnlab.it\/index.php\/curarsi-con-lintelligenza-artificiale\/\"><b>Curarsi con l&#8217;Intelligenza Artificiale<\/b><\/a><\/em>\u00a0(2024) with Il Mulino. The latter was translated into English and published by Routledge Taylor &amp; Francis under the title\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ctnlab.it\/index.php\/3990-2\/\"><em data-end=\"337\" data-start=\"299\">Healing with Artificial Intelligence<\/em><\/a><\/strong>\u00a0(2025).
